Rag and Flag is one of the most memorable and exciting activities of a law school freshman’s orientation experience - offering you the opportunity to grace the UTown Green stage and build lasting memories with your fellow batchmates.

Through weeks of training, Rag dancers can look forward to seeing first-hand, their hard work culminate in a sensational and dynamic performance, featuring a vibrant mix of genres and styles. Whether or not you have prior dance experience, our seniors are here to guide you and create a warm and supportive environment for everyone to grow. Rag Dance is the place for you to build meaningful friendships, grow in confidence, and most importantly, have a blast!

Stunters will execute electrifying aerial lifts that are sure to make the audience go “WOW!”. 

The stunts team is looking for brave and adventurous flyers who crave the adrenaline rush of being up in the air, and of course, not forgetting our strong and steady bases who can be relied on in keeping our flyers safe and providing good support. 

No experience is required as the stunt instructors will teach the basics of stunting from ground zero in a safe environment. Stunters will also be part of the dance team!

As part of the Floats team, you’ll work alongside fellow freshmen and seniors to design, build, and paint larger-than-life floats that are the heart of RAG. It’s a hands-on, collaborative experience where you’ll pick up new skills, make close friends, and create something truly unforgettable. The best part? No experience needed - we just need your enthusiasm and participation! 

Whether you’re curious about building, enjoy working on handicrafts, or just want to be part of something bigger, FLOATS is where friendships are formed and memories are made.

The spectacular costumes that our dancers proudly don on stage are all hand-made from scratch by our capable Costumes team! If you have a flair for sewing or if you are just interested in learning how to make beautiful costumes alongside your fellow batch mates, the Costumes team is the perfect place for you! Everyone is welcomed to join even with no prior experience as our friendly seniors will be there to guide you through every stage, from sewing and painting to embellishments. It is not everyday where you learn how to make clothes from start to finish - and you have the opportunity to do just that with us :)
